Profile

I did two pieces for this DAB show. The main piece was constructed out of two chairs of my grandmother's. One had been left to decompose in the garden for five years. The other was in the state that I inherited. The piece was titled TIME, the profile being abstract and made by thought process.
It started in the window of the gallery and was more situation related as an instalation than site specific. I liked the slope. At the end of the exhibition I set it up centrally in the gallery on the floor as originally planned.
DAB is a experimental group of artist friends who meet weekly to do just that; experiment with ideas developed from drawing. Drawing And Beyond. I have been in the group for three years.

The other piece was titled 390 bus route. It profiled the journey from Victoria to Kings cross London. With some artistic licence on choosing the bus stops.
